The National Sea Rescue Institute of South Africa welcomed its youngest ever qualifying crew member last week. Grade 9 RBCS student, Bryce Vorster.
Based at Station 19 in Richards Bay, Bryce was a member of the junior crew for approximately a year and decided to write his crew exams when he turned 16.
Bryce underwent many evaluations to test his mental and physical limits and completed over 16 different exams before he was sworn into the NSRI!
Well done, Bryce, on this outstanding achievement!
