Richards Bay Christian School (RBCS) About Us

Over 30 years of Love, Excellence and Leadership at RBCS

Richards Bay Christian School (RBCS) is situated on the North Coast of sunny KwaZulu-Natal. RBCS is a ministry of Richards Bay Community Church, having opened its doors in January 1988 as the first multi-cultural school in Zululand.

The mission of RBCS is to provide Christ-centred education to the Zululand community. The approach is innovative teaching content from an integrated Biblical perspective. RBCS is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), whose mission is to unite, equip and strengthen Christian schools worldwide.

Although the methodology has adapted to change over the years, the mission continues to be the driving force of our leaders:

Mr Graham Temlett (RBCS principal 1988-1996), Mr Larry Chasenski (RBCS principal 1996-2001) and current principal Mrs Beverley Chambler (RBCS principal  2001-present).
